A Wily Coyote

As a dog person, I love canines of all types and it's always great to see a wild version. This particular one was asleep in some tall grass just off the trail. I watched it for a couple of hours, during which it would periodically get up, stretch, turn around in a few circles, and lie back down again. Sometimes it would roll over and lie on its back with its paws in the air. The behaviour was very similar to the pets in our homes, which was interesting to see, proving that our beloved pets aren't so far removed after all.
